A highly motivated, result-oriented trade compliance profession, Tina’s experience includes such industries as telecommunications and aerospace and defense industries. She manages all of Trade Compliance and has served as an Empowered Official.

A born auditor, Tina conducts audits across throughout the compliance realm including imports, exports, OFAC, FCPA, Electronic Export Information fillings (EEI), supporting documentation, etc. During audits, she employs her vast knowledge of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the U.S. Census Bureau’s Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and hands-on experience in Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) product classifications, licensing determination as well as exceptions/exemption determination.

Her management experience includes developing, training and mentoring team members as well as oversight of operational functions. These functions include serving as administrator for the Automated Export System (AES), oversight of EEI filings and managing recordkeeping requirements. Tina enjoys developing compliance programs, designing and implementing automated SAP solutions for trade compliance, writing procedures and corporate trade compliance policies to include OFAC, FCPA and anti-boycott regulations

Tina enjoys assisting clients in the development of audit standards, KPIs and facility management controls for industry security. She also supports clients in the creation or review of policies and procedures and determining Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications.

Tina graduated Magna Cum Laude holding a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas – Houston, Texas. She served as the Treasurer for the Houston Chapter of the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) and is very active in the international trade community. She is on committees and boards for United Way and March of Dimes.
